Louis Vuitton has issued its men's fashion for autumn and winter 2009 lately. Paul Helbers, who is in charge of LV men's fashion, does not like following the trend and varying the interesting patterns as Marc Jacobs does. The new series for 2009 designed by Paul Helbers show you the style of a classical famous brand at a single glance. The styles from clothes to bags are all designed to be simple as tradition.


Paul Helbers said that, the starting point of this year is "the traveling wardrobe of the African King". So there are a lot of suitcases in the show. But why it is " Africa King "? I don't know either. Is that because there are some antelope skin and crocodile skin in this show? The show is full of the feeling of travel, but there is not any Africa ambience. I think this show deserve to be an absolutely conservative one.

But there is innovation in the conservation, some of which are very terrible such as those seemingly cheap and weird red playshoes. But there are some others which added new meanings to the men, for example, the handbags printed with soccer patterns, and the shopping bags of monogram style, as well as the rectangle handbag which looks like the combination of Hermes and LV. It seems not too bad that most handbags follow the classical style. We can not only see the renovated LV ( by Marc Jacobs), but also see the classical and conservative one.
